Michael H. Chung

MICHAEL H. CHUNG is a Founding Partner of RK ADLER LLP.  He leads the firm's business law, securities, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate counseling practices. He works with entrepreneurs, start-up, venture-backed, and family-owned businesses and small to mid-cap emerging companies.  Mr. Chung serves as general counsel to a wide range of clients including technology, telecommunications, internet and new media, e-commerce, fashion, restaurant, nightclub, consumer products, and design organizations on corporate transactional matters.

Michael’s practice specializes in the representation of internal and external complex business transactions, IP portfolio management, mergers and acquisitions, asset sales and purchases, sales and distribution agreements, software and technology licensing, compensation strategies, shareholder/partnership agreements, and LLC and corporate formation and governance. In addition, Michael also specializes in the representation of venture-backed companies in founder issues and equity and debt financings (angel, preferred stock, convertible debt, bridge loans, etc.) for both private equity and venture capital investors.

Previously, Michael was a mergers and acquisitions attorney at the Manhattan office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

Michael attended Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts and Brooklyn Law School in Brooklyn, New York.
